Halloween 2005 got nuttier than a miniature Snickers bar, but we did have our moments of pure spontaneous bliss and here is one of them.

Some sort of wine-induced tribute to London Brigdes -- I have no idea!

My stylin' sister went as Tanya, the truckstop waitress (that is Tan-ya not Ton-ya as in Tanya Tucker). I think Madonna copied her latest look from Tanya. Madonna is our twelfth cousin on our maternal grandmother's side (so is Celine Dion) -- no shittin ya! Our Uncle Jack has done extensive genealogical research and came up with those gems.

Peter was not only hilarious dressed as a girl, but a Eurotrash girl at that. These boots are an obvious knock off of the hideous Ug boots. My sister said it looked like rabbit testicles were hanging off them.

Like I was saying ... some ugly ass boots. Love the shoulder pose though. He definitely got points from the judges for getting into character.

Peter, aka PPP, went as Capri Lillyfoot. Every time I see him in this get up I think of "Kids in the Hall" and especially the rock star character that Bruce McCullough used to play. In this picture I think I love the hairy hands the most.

Lindsay, left, went as Tanya. Clare went as herself I believe. She has pictures of my costume that I will have later in the week coming via e-mail. I wanted to go ahead and post what I had.

Capri Lillyfoot in the HOUSE! Lindsay and I agreed that this was the only picture of Capri that could have truly passed for a woman (not taking the flat chest into account). In all the other pictures you can see PPP's beard even though he's clean shaven. That testosterone can be a flat out bitch, huh girl?

The rock zombie emerges from her tomb

Funny thing about the rock zombie, she looks like a combination of Roy's girlfriend from college (and no that is not a compliment, but who cares), Clare's ex-sister in law, Joey Ramone and Johnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde. I guess there are only a handful of people that would even be able to image those four personas coming together as one, but Clare certainly knew.

Mink Stole reincarnated

This really reminds me of a still taken from a John Waters movie and specifically his crazy little favorite Mink Stole that started in the nutso freak flicks like "Multiple Maniacs" and moved on with Waters to the more tame and palatable movies like "Hairspray".

Color me bitra

These black and white photos were taken with Clare's camera and they really look like they are from a 1960's B-movie. I had to keep reminding myself that she really wasn't bleeding throughout the night. The red Kool-aid and water did get an eerie effect.

Dr. E-vel

Yes she is doctor now, and it this photo a doctor from the darkside. Her face reminds me of Sissy Spacek in the final scene in "Carrie" when she turns the gym into mayhem all by pure psychic force. Fortunately Clare was not able to channel any of those powers on Halloween night.
